It was two weeks now since I start working on my Vidiscript templates on my free time, if you don’t know about Vidiscript, it’s a free script for creating your own YouTube clone website. It’s actually a free script but some find it intimidating since you need to enter first your email and sign-up and then they will send you the link to where you can find the download area. But this was a really cool script, they are still in Beta version for now but in a month they will going to release the full version and enjoy the power of this script.
Let’s go back to my template, I actually find their free templates which included in the script package quite a bit out of my theme so I decided to create one that will suit to my site theme which is a video site for all Filipino rock music video. And since their is no free templates other than the two default templates I decided to give away my template that I created which I think a good investment not just to promote my site but also to be in the vidiscript community. The only thing that I really want to create on my templates which giving me a hard time is to create something like a real YouTube with “Video watching right now script” and to put at least my link to my site at the footer. The templates use a modules templates which I’m still in a process of learning and doing some workaround about it and mapping out where all those modules connected to each other and what languages vidiscript are using, so far what I can do is to modify the images, add some images and modify the style.css.
This post is just an intro for now, I’m going for a camping right now. So just a quick info from me what’s going on and what’s ahead for modpinoy.
